Welcome to my portfolio website! My name is Kundan Yadav, and I am a versatile and multilingual civil engineer with a diverse range of interests and experiences. Let me take you on a journey through my background and accomplishments.
I was born in the beautiful village of Lalapatti, nestled in the Saptari district near the Indo-Nepal border. Growing up in a small village, I developed a deep appreciation for my surroundings and the importance of community. I completed my primary schooling in Saptari, immersing myself in the local culture and gaining a strong foundation in education.
After completing my eighth grade, I moved to the vibrant city of Kathmandu. It was here that I continued my education and successfully completed my intermediate level. Kathmandu provided me with a dynamic environment to broaden my horizons and explore new opportunities.
Following my passion for civil engineering, I decided to pursue my higher education in Bangladesh. In 2019, I proudly graduated from HSTU University in Bangladesh with a degree in Civil Engineering. This educational journey not only provided me with theoretical knowledge but also exposed me to practical aspects of the field, shaping me into a well-rounded engineer.
Presently, I am furthering my academic pursuits by pursuing an M. Tech in Construction Management at Lovely Professional University. This program, generously funded by the SII Scholarship, has equipped me with advanced skills and knowledge in managing construction projects. With my expected graduation in July 2023, I am eager to apply my expertise to contribute to the construction industry.
Apart from my technical pursuits, I have a deep-rooted passion for photography. Capturing moments and emotions through my lens allows me to express my creativity and share unique perspectives. Photography has become an integral part of my life, enabling me to showcase the beauty and diversity of the world around us.
Furthermore, I possess a keen interest in maintenance work. Whether it be troubleshooting technical issues or ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment and systems, I find satisfaction in problem-solving and keeping things in optimal condition. My hands-on approach and attention to detail enable me to excel in this field.
In terms of language proficiency, I am fluent in English, Nepali, Hindi, and Bengali. Additionally, my mother tongue is Maithili, a language predominantly spoken in southern Nepal and northern Bihar. Being able to communicate in multiple languages allows me to connect with diverse individuals and understand different cultures on a deeper level.
Throughout my journey, I have developed a love for continuous learning and a thirst for knowledge. I am always eager to embrace new experiences and expand my skill set, making me adaptable to various professional environments.

My responsibilities included preparing bills for construction work, making progress reports, supervising field activities related to material procurement, and conducting thorough quality assurance tests at the in-site concrete batching plant. With my expertise in engineering knowledge, design interpretation, and organizational skills, I played a pivotal role in the successful execution of these projects.
During my tenure as a Site Engineer with Brother/Shree Mahagauri JV, I took charge of maintaining impeccable quality control over the contractor’s work and provided field supervision to ensure construction met the highest standards. I conducted thorough inspections of rebar and formwork arrangements, ensuring strict compliance with drawing specifications for both structural and mass concreting in big concrete structures. My proficiency as a CAD operator allowed me to create accurate Digital Terrain Models (DTM) from survey data, enhancing project analysis and estimation preparation. Additionally, I excelled in documentation management, ensuring that all project-related information was systematically recorded and readily accessible. My strong communication skills fostered seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders, making significant contributions to successful project management.
